To Our Passengers and Partners :

I wanted to personally reach out and let you know that we are vigilantly implementing enhanced protocols to ensure driver, passenger and office employee safety.

We are closely monitoring the guidance of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH), the California Department of Public Health, and the Centers for Disease Control regarding the spread of the virus.  As World Health Organization declares the Corona Virus a Pandemic, our focus remains to ensure we meet customer needs while doing our part to keep our passengers, independent contractor/drivers, our employees, and our communities safe.

We are concentrating on the following:

Vehicles and Drivers:

  • We enhanced the techniques used to clean our vehicles.  We are asking drivers to concentrate on interior customer touch points such as seats, seatbelts, seatbelt buckles, steering wheels, door handles, and other none-porous surfaces.
  • Drivers were instructed to clean and disinfect vehicles at least once per shift or 2 times per 24-hour period using an EPA registered disinfectant.
  • We instructed our drivers to use alcohol-based hand sanitizer after discharging passengers.
  • Drivers were reminded to be vigilant and look for passengers exhibiting signs of illness, particularly coughing or having difficulty breathing.
  • Drivers are instructed to report illness immediately to dispatch and to local health authorities.
  • Drivers were instructed to stay home if they experience flu-like symptoms.

Office & Employees

  • We instructed our office cleaning crew to clean our office facilities daily with recommended sanitizing products.
  • We have altered the cleaning protocols in the office to include general cleaning of the entire area followed by through coverage of the area with an EPA registered disinfectant.
  • Our cleaning crew was instructed to sanitize frequently touched surfaces such as computer input devices, employee desks and all handles.
  • Our cleaning crew has been advised to carefully follow manufacturer use, preparation and contact time instructions.
  • In addition, we are taking steps to ensure the welfare of our employees.  This includes instructing employees who feel ill to stay home and consult their healthcare providers.  We are also urging all employees to wash hands frequently.

We are posting notices instructing employees how to properly wash hands.

  • We provided hand sanitizer to all office employees.
  • We have asked drivers and vendors to minimize non-essential contact with our employees and to conduct business as much as possible remotely.

We continue to monitor all public health agency directives and stand ready to adjust procedures should the need arise.
